Russell Electric LLC was founded June 1, 1997  by Donald L. Russell Jr.

Don wanted to capture the spirit of honest, professional electrical services at a reasonable price. Don brought with him 14 years of electrical experience and a vision to excel in providing safe and professional services.

 

Don got his start in the electrical field in 1983 when he joined the US Army as a Turbine Driven Generator Operator / Repairer. While in the Army Don was trained in:

 

· Basic AC / DC Electrical Theory

· Advanced Electrical Theory and Application

· Parallel Circuits

· Series Circuits

· Power Generation

· Transformers

· Blue Print Reading

· Circuit Board Schematics

 

During his 8 years in the Military Don expanded is knowledge by taking night courses in Computer Information Services and Business Management.

 

In 1992 Don  launched his career as an electrician in the private sector and learned Building Codes, National Electric Codes. Working on various projects from Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Rural Electrical.

 

             During his apprentienceship, Don targeted small to medium companies to work for where he received more one on one training with Master Electricians,  and was exposed to more variety in the projects. Don excelled rapidly and earned his Journeyman's License in 1995.

 

             It wasn’t long before Don noticed a decline in the professionalism and workmanship in his chosen career and wanted to bring back the workmanship and pride of providing a valuable service at a reasonable price.

 

             After receiving his Master Electrical License in 1997, Don founded Russell Electric. Since 1997, Russell Electric has held up to Don’s vision.

            

             Russell Electric is considered by Inspectors as a knowledgeable Company that takes pride in their work. Russell Electric still maintains it original goals, not wanting to be the biggest shop in town, just the BEST!
